This is a great and fun riff to play on guitar – with many added benefits!
In this session we’re going to take a look at playing the Superstition guitar riff (or a variation of it). Today we’re playing this in the open position, so that it’s a little easier to get into.
But, to get this right you need to really practice your hammer ons, string skipping and string muting. Getting those notes accurate and achieving that clipped sound, using your pick hand, takes some practice. And as an added benefit this classic riff makes for a good quick warm up routine.
