Quick TipsNote: Getting an even strum going does take practice – particularly the upwards strum. Also getting the right level of pressure on the pick is not something you’ll get straight away. This just takes time. But you should experiment by deliberately holding the pick lightly and then tightly. The tighter you hold the pick, the more rigid your wrist and arm will become, so it’s important not to hold it too tightly.
