Quick Tips
Note: Don’t worry about learning the E Major scale – that’s for another day. But this just shows that sometimes just by messing around you find additional notes that might not be actually in the scale you were playing, but still just work and sound cool when played in the context of a song or chord sequence. The fact is that they are part of a scale (well every note is!). Some guitarists use multiple scales when soloing, yet others prefer to stick with just the pentatonic and blues.
