With these new components, you’ll have more that enough material to keep you entertained for weeks! My suggestion would be to do just that, and keep your focus just around these positions we’ve covered so far, before you try and incorporate the other positions of the scale.

Quick Tips

Note: Once you’ve got some of these licks working you should see if they can work with some of the other licks. and if so find out which ones seem to naturally work together. Don’t try to get too ambitious too early – it will come more naturally and easily if you take your time and slowly add more licks and phrases.
