5.2 Training

This week we’re adding so much more to the playing of the song, in terms of techniques, strumming patterns, and accentuations. But these will take some time to master. So as usual take things one step at a time and just focus on one element until you’ve nailed it, both the with metronome and the backing track, before you try and pull it all together.

Quick Tips

Note: The strum pick combination for the chord rundown may sound a little messy to start with, but don’t get rushed. This is definitely one you’ll have to build up slowly using a metronome.
