So this week our focus is on rhythm and timing. To start with we’ll be playing a steady even rhythm and then once this is fully nailed, we’ll add in all the accentuations and really bring the rhythm alive.
Quick TipsRemember: Take each segment of the song one step at a time, starting with the intro, then the verse, followed by the bridge and chorus. Once you have each segment error free with smooth strum and fuild chord changing, then start to build the components together (whilst maintaining that rhythm). Start with just the open chords, before progressing to the barre chords – and then mix and match!
